the bottom line to the question you just posed, not sure y of t op us -- on us just yet. we could use some cooling rain. today a hot day. humidity was worse this morning. we're not seeing much in the way of thunderstorms. although we're not 100% free of that. there has been a few in the ridge tops but not many. we have a atmospheric lid on d.c. today and it's hard for the storms to get tall. but the jefferson memorial looking nice and our high temperature was 92 degrees. let's start with a look at the other two tropical systems we're been talking about. we're going to focus on claudette which will be ashore in the eastern portion of the panhandle of florida, but then there is tropical depression claudette, moving to the west at 8 miles per hour. and tropical storm bill will happen probably night or become a hurricane tomorrow. it has winds of 65 miles per hour. temperature wise though, it is a toasty sunday evening in d.c. with temperatures near around 90 degrees and notice the heat index doesn't change that much. that's a sign that the humidity is not as highs it was ear
